A male cyclist is fighting for his life after an incident in north county Dublin
At around 12.30 this afternoon a cyclist in his 40s recieved life threatening injuries when he was involved in a collision with a van.
It happened near Turvey Avenue and the old N1 Road between Lusk and Donabate.
He was rushed to Beaumount Hospital.
Another male cyclist in his mid 30's also sustained minor injuries in the collision with the van.
Gardai are at the scene and the road remains closed in both directions.
A forensic examination is due to be carried out at the scene.
