The National Lottery is back up and running following an earlier glitch.
A technical issues caused both retail sales and online sales to stall for a time earlier but in a statement this afternoon the National Lottery say both are now fully operational.
Tonight's jackpot is 12 million euro after it rolled over a number of times.
People can buy tickers before the 7.45pm deadline.
Last February, the National Lottery was forced to postpone its draw for 24 hours after a technical problem stopped ticket machines working.
Shop owners have been reporting long queues, and said they hadn't received any notification about the fault from the National Lottery.
