Longboat Quay residents have rejected the latest offer of funding to fix the fire safety problems at the complex.
The €4M bill is to bring the apartments up to scratch.
Last month Dublin Fire Brigade issued a notice ordering that works to bring the complex up to fire safety standards, take place.
Since then residents have been back and forth with authorities on who is going to pay.
Now the Dublin Docklands Development Authority has put another offer on the table.
It's understood to be €3.5M which would cover all of the costs for social housing owners and a significant portion of other residents costs.
However this has been rejected by owners who say they shouldn't have to foot any of the bill.
