Couples locking their love on the Ha'penny bridge have been warned they are damaging the structure.
Dublin City Council has erected signs at the crossing, asking people not to attach locks.
The padlocks have to be cut away from the metal structure which is causing damage to the bridge.
The council has removed around 300 kilos of locks in the past year.
