A new survey has found that the number of people smoking in Ireland is falling faster than in any other European country.
A Euro-barometer survey - carried out to mark "World No Tobacco Day" - reveals an overall downward trend in smoking in Europe.
More than 1 in 4 of European adults are still regular smokers, while in Ireland the rate's fallen to 21%.
General Practitioner Dr Ciara Kelly says overall its a good news.
