The actor best known for playing Mr. Spock in the original Star Trek movies has died.
Leonard Nimoy, who had lung disease, was hospitalised earlier this week with chest pains.
His wife has confirmed that he died on Friday morning at his home in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles.
The actor's final tweet was sent on Monday, and read:
