There are plans to introduce late night trams on the Luas Red Line this festive season.
Services already run into the night in December on the Green Line, and local reps have previously criticised the lack of late trams on the Red Line.
Luas has rejected claims of discrimination, saying there hasn't been the same demand for services to Tallaght.
It's planning to try out late night trams this year to see if there's enough interest.
But first, it needs the go ahead from transport bosses. Transport Infrastructure Ireland is due to reveal soon, whether it's giving the proposal the green light.
