The producers of Love/Hate have donated the famous 'King Nidge' runners to the Pieta House charity.

It's hoped the runners, which were gifted by Trish to Nidge in the season finale, will help raise funds for the counselling service.

Pieta House is reporting a shortfall of 300,000 euro this year due to an increased demand on their services.

The CEO of Pieta House, Joan Freeman, says they are very grateful to the producers of the show for their donation.

Love/Hate fans can enter the competition by texting NIDGE to 57802 for 2 euro. The competition closes on Christmas Eve.
