An Irish man arrested for alleged ticket touting at the Rio Olympics is set to released on bail today according to reports.
Kevin Mallon director of THG Sports has been held in the maximum security Bangu Prison since August 5th when he was found to be in posession of Irish allocated tickets.
His arrest sparked a major scandal which led to the detention of Olympic Council of Ireland President Pat Hickey - who remains behind bars.
THG has welcomed the decision to release Mallon in a statement, the company says it believes all of its executives will be vindicated.
