Irish man Kevin Mallon has been released on bail from a high security prison in Rio.
The THG sports director had been in Bangu prison since his arrest on the 5th of August in connection with allegations of ticket touting.
Brazilian police claim he was found in possession of 823 tickets for the Olympic games and was attempting to sell them, however Mr Mallon denies any wrongdoing.
He was released at two o'clock this morning Irish time, following a delay and will appear in court in Rio tomorrow.
