Just Eat contactless delivery

Just Eat have introduced contactless delivery this week.

The company aims to safely delivery food to customers while maintaining social distancing.

Combining contactless delivery with contactless payment means people can still order food while keeping in line with HSE guidelines.

Just Eat says this will be particularly important for people in self-isolation.

The food delivery service has spent the past two weeks working with its restaurant partners to insure all employees are fully aware of the HSE guidelines on hygiene and social isolation.

Many of the 2,200 restaurants that use Just Eat remain online and ready to deliver.

While new restaurants, some of whom have closed their sit-in restaurant, have joined the Just Eat platform to provide food to their regular customers through delivery.
