The jurors in the trial of a woman accused of murdering an elderly man in Dublin have been sent home for the weekend without reaching a verdict.
Thomas Horan was beaten and strangled to death at the Cambridge Court senior citizens’ complex in Ringsend on January 6th last year.
Sabrina Cummins, who lives at nearby Ringsend Park, admits punching and kicking the 63-year-old but denies murdering him.
The jury spent three and a half hours considering a verdict today and will resume deliberations on Tuesday.
