Jim Carrey's being sued over the suicide of his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White.
It's over claims the actor illegally got hold of the prescription drugs involved in her death.
Cathriona who was from Co. Tipperary was found dead at her home in Los Angeles last September after an overdose.
Now her estranged husband says the Ace Ventura and Truman Show star used his celebrity status to get the drugs.
He claims that Carey gave them to Cathriona even though he knew she was prone to depression and tried to cover it up.
The actor says the lawsuit is a "heartless attempt" to exploit him and the woman he loved.
Ms. White had broken up with Carrey a week before and left a suicide note addressed to the actor saying she was “just not for this world”.
