ORB are going to light up the city for Christmas.
The Dublin band will be the guests of honour when they flick the switch for the lights on Grafton Street on November 13th.
There’s also a world record Christmas jumper attempt on the 30th of the month.
Richard Guiney from Dublin Town says it was great fun last year.
Meanwhile a survey's found the average Dubliner will spend €1500 on the festive season this year.
Aviva says the biggest spend is expected to be on presents, at €620.
It comes as the top 12 toys have been revealed, with just over 7 weeks to go until the big day.
It looks like Disney’s Frozen will stay at the top of Christmas lists this year with the number one toy being a Frozen Snow Glow Elsa doll.
Other toys in the top 12 include a Nerf Demolisher gun, a Boomer dino, Bop It Beats, Lego Benny’s Spaceship and even a Kiddizoom smart watch.
The list by Dream Dozen Toys was chosen from 72 of the country’s most popular toys.
