Four people have died following a siege in the south of France.
A gunman shot three people and was later killed by police when they raided the Supermarket where he was holed up in Trebes.
It's reported the gunman also shot and injured an officer near Carcassonne (pron: car-cah-sonne) prior to taking people hostage in the supermarket.
The French Interior Minister says the suspect was known to authorities for petty crimes and was not considered an islamic threat.
