Ireland is on course to be the most obese country in Europe in just 15 years' time.
That's according to a major report today from the UK Health Forum and the World Health Organisation.
It also predicts women will overtake men in the area, with 85 per cent expected to be overweight and 57 per cent obese by 2030.
For men, 89 percent are forecast to be overweight and 48 per cent obese by that time.
The report's findings will be presented to the European Congress on Obesity today.
