That's according to a worldwide study, which has found more people here are at risk of becoming dependent on alcohol.

People here say they expect drinking advice from their GP, but Ireland is also home to the highest percentage who say they want to drink less.
In most countries, men are more dependent on alcohol than women.
The study shows that Poland is a close second to Ireland when it comes to how much people drink.
