Investigations are continuing today after a teenage boy was killed in a motorbike crash on Christmas morning.
It happened just before 8am yesterday on Cherry Orchard Avenue in Dublin.
A man in his early twenties was also involved in the accident, and is believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Meanwhile, an investigation is underway after a collision between a Garda Patrol Car and a motorbike at about 5 o'clock yesterday morning.
It happened in the Summerhill area of Dublin, and a man is said to be in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital.
Anyone who might have witnessed anything is being asked to come forward.
