An investigation is underway after a man in his 60s was killed in a plane crash in County Waterford yesterday evening.
It's understood the single-seater BD5 experienced technical difficulties after leaving Waterford airport shortly after 6:30pm.
The pilot had been bound for Shannon Airport to attend the Foynes Air Show, and crashed while trying to turn back for Waterford.
