Controlled injection centres for drug users are one option for tackling our drug problem.
That's according to the hosts of a drug policy workshop taking place in Dublin today.
Controlled centres would mean the legalisation of some drugs, and would allow people to use them in a supervised space.
They would also being given access to addiction treatment.
The director of the Ana Liffey Drug Project Tony Duffin says health-based policy measures should be looked at, instead of just locking up drug users.
