Hundreds of people have attended a rally in support of former workers at Clerys in Dublin.
130 staff at the company were laid off last week after the store went into liquidation.
They've since been told that there are no funds to cover their redundancy and back payments.
Meanwhile the Government has promised there will be no delay in processing redundancy payments for Clerys staff.
The Taoiseach's told the Dáil that a small number of payroll staff may be retained during the liquidation process.
Enda Kenny says that the treatment of the workers was grossly insensitive and appalling.
