A 24 year old man arrested in connection with Monday's hit and run at Phoenix Park has been released from garda custody.
He was picked up following the collision on North Road, in which a 2 year old girl was killed.
Vanesia Siatka died from her injuries in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The suspect was released without charge last night and a file is on its way to the DPP, to see if charges can be brought.
Officers are continuing to appealing to anyone who may have seen a 02 D green Toyota Corolla driving eratically in the area at the time, to get in touch with detectives at any garda station.
