Human remains, thought to date back to Medieval times, have been discovered during Luas works outside Trinity College this afternoon.
The historic bones were discovered 1.5 metres deep beside the city campus.
Archaeologists have been called in and the scene has been cordoned off.
The work could take a number of days.
