Drivers are being urged to watch out for flooding on roads this afternoon and evening.
The Strawberry beds is impassible as is the Enniskerry Road between Jamestown and Stepaside, the Estuary Road in Malahide and the Calliaghstown/ Kilteel Rd near Rathcoole.
There’s also flooding in the hard shoulder and on the left lane of the N7 at Athgoe and at the Liffey Bridge in Lucan.
However, water is receding on River Road from Coolmine Rugby Club to the Ballyboggin Road junction.
AA Roadwatch is also warning motorists that excess water is making conditions difficult on the N4 and N7 and are reminding drivers to slow down and keep a safe distance from the car in front.
And after the storm I run and run as the rains come And I look up, I look up, Some still don’t have lights on Lets all get home safe & sound

It comes as Dublin City Council reveals that it has shortlisted five independent experts to review the height of the Clontarf sea wall.
They’ve contacted all five to see who would be able examine the controversial build to see if any changes, including the installation of glass panels, should be made.
Also, a new committee’s been set up between the council, residents, business owners and interested parties to monitor the impact the construction of the wall is having on the locality.
