A handgun and a quantity of drugs have been seized aboard a Dublin train yesterday, with two men arrested.
Gardai received a report that two men were acting suspiciously on board a DART.
They boarded at Blackrock station and following a search, Gardai discovered the weapon, a small quantity of drugs and other drugs paraphernalia.
Two men, one aged in his 20s and one in his 30s, were arrested and taken to Blackrock Garda station.
They're being held under Section 30 of The Offences Against the State Act where they can be detained for up to 72 hours.
