The High Court is due to hear more applications for injunctions to stop striking workers at Greyhound Recycling from blocking its bin trucks.

Last week, a Dublin councillor was ordered to stop interfering with the lorries in an ongoing dispute over pay and conditions.

Around 70 workers at the waste management company have been on strike since mid June.

Management claim they've been joined by other protestors who have been stopping trucks and intimidating drivers.

Last week, PBP councillor Gino Kenny was ordered to stop engaging in "unlawful picketing" after a video showed lorries being blocked at one of the company's plants.

The company is seeking further injunctions against several workers and protestors, among them two other local councillors and Dublin South Central TD Joan Collins and their applications are due to be heard today.
