Three politicians have been ordered not to block bin lorries or interfere with access to a Greyhound Recycling facility in Clondalkin.

The waste management company took legal action after their trucks were blocked from collecting rubbish across the city.

The dispute began amid claims that management at Greyhound Recycling are trying to force through pay cuts.

Agency crews were drafted in after workers went on strike in mid-June and the row then ended up in the High Court.

Protestors were accused of blocking bin lorries and intimidating drivers.

Dublin South Central TD Joan Collins was accused of orchestrating some of these blockades to disrupt collections and hit the company in its pocket.

Last week, an injunction preventing local Cllr Gino Kenny from engaging in unlawful picketing was granted.

And today, the court made the same order against Deputy Collins and two other PBP councillors Tina MacVeigh and Pat Dunne.

They've been ordered not to interfere with access to the company's facility in Clondalkin and they've also been told not to block the passage of the lorries

Judge David Keane made his decision after hearing that a bin truck was blocked for three hours yesterday morning despite promises made that there would be no further disruption.
