The GRA says gardai can't respond properly to anti-immigration protests as policing is in crisis.

It's after violent protests against migrants in the city over the weekend.

Meanwhile, demonstrators are currently using cars and tractors this morning to block road access to a hotel being used for asylum seekers in Inch, Co Clare.

Brendan O'Connor from the Garda Representative Association says gardai don't have the resources to tackle these issues.

He said: ''we are asking less people to do more. We don't have that capacity. It's causing unbelievable strain on the service. ''

520 asylum seekers don't have accommodation at present. While Fianna Fail TD Jim O'Callaghan says the Government is currently accommodating 84,000 migrants. 100 more beds are due to become available in the next few days.
