Government Split On Right To Die Issue

The government parties are split on whether or not to allow a so-called 'right to die'.

Joan Burton believes that an expert forum should be set up to get clear medical and legal advice on the issue.

However the Taoiseach says that the issue needs a referendum, which he isn't interested in having.

Michael Nugent, co-founder of Right To Die Ireland, says that this is a personal and ethical decision for people involved and that politicians need to grasp that reality.
