Dublin Fire Brigade is dealing with a gorse fire in the Dublin Mountains.
Military Road is closed to traffic where heavy smoke is making it hard to see.
The gorse fire broke out on Glendoo Mountain, and firefighters from Rathfarnham station are helping fight the blaze.
Dublin Fire Brigade has reminded people that, during hot weather, gorse fires break out easily.
It has asked people not to throw rubbish or cigarettes into dry grass, while the Department of Agriculture has also issued the highest alert for forest fires.
