Tánaiste and Labour leader Eamon Gilmore says his party will not take guff from Fianna Fáil or Sinn Féin.
He was speaking at the Labour Party national conference in Meath.
Meanwhile Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin's admitted his department has raised concerns about the cost of the planned Universal Health Insurance.
