It's said lightning doesn't strike twice, and that's certainly the case for fans of Garth Brooks in Dublin - or is it?
Aiken Promotions has said "there are no plans for Garth Brooks to perform in Ireland next year".
The one line statement was released in response to reports the county star was planning to perform here next summer.
It had been claimed Garth was looking to play one show in Dublin and a second show in another part of the country, after he pulled out of five shows at Croke Park earlier this year.
A spokesperson for Garth Brooks, Nancy Seltzer, told DailyEdge.ie that the country singer would not be coming here in 2015.
“I’m afraid that would not be possible, as he is committed to touring within the United States at that time,” she said.
Garth called off all five dates after Dublin City Council told him he couldn't stage all of the shows at the GAA stadium.
