Gardaí are renewing their appeal for the mother of a baby found in Rathcoole to come forward.
The little girl is believed to have been up to a day and a half old when she was discovered yesterday afternoon in a plastic bag on Steelstown Road
The newborn is in a stable condition at Tallaght hospital.
Gardaí say she was fed and nourished when she was found by a passerby.

The authorities are concerned for the welfare of her mother and are appealing to her to seek immediate medical treatment.
