The French Interior Minister confirmed the death of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the man believed to be the mastermind behind last week's terrorist attacks.

The suspected ringleader in last Friday's Paris attack was killed during a siege in the suburb of Saint Denis yesterday.

Belgian jihadist Abdelhamid Abaaoud was subject to a Belgian arrest warrant yet was able to evade European security and travel from Syria to France where he led the recent terror attacks last Friday. French interior minister Bernard Cazenouve announced the successful targeting of one of the world's worst terrorist this afternoon, while French Prime Minister Manuel Valls warned of the threat of chemical and biological warfare.
