A memorial service for members of the gardaí killed in the line of duty will take place at Dublin Castle this afternoon.
The Minister for Justice and Garda Commissioner will join family members of those on the roll of honour at the Dubhlinn Gardens from midday.
To date, 86 members of an Garda Síochana have been killed on the job since the establishment of the force in 1922.
