Gardai are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a supermarket in Co Meath yesterday.
A masked man, believed to be in his late 20's or early 30s and carrying a gun, entered the shop on Fairyhouse Road in Ratoath after 7pm.
He threatened staff and assaulted one man working in the shop before escaping on foot with an amount of cash.
One employee suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.
The robber has been described as 5'11' and of a strong build. He was also wearing a beetroot coloured hoodie, blue jeans, and white runners and was carrying a green plastic bag.
Gardai are asking anyone with information to come forward.
