Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance following a shooting at a car park in Islanbridge last night.
Gardai say from their initial investigations - it appears that a red Honda Civic car - with an 08 D registration - rammed another car, a silver BMW with a 01- D registration.
Two men -who were the occupants of the red Honda Civic- got out of the car and ran after a 35 year old man -who was travelling in the silver BMW - and fired a number of shots at him.
The man escaped into Bellevue Apartments and was uninjured.
One of the gunmen is described as being 5’ 8”, wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans.
Gardai attended the scene and carried out a search. No arrests have been made.
