Gardai investigating the discovery of body parts in Ballyfermot are asking anyone concerned about the whereabouts of a male relative or friend to come forward.
On July 31st, a lower leg was found by a worker sorting out rubbish at the Thorntons Recycling facility on Killeen Road.
A second body part was found the following day and follow up searches also found the man's skull.
However, DNA tests have so far been unable to establish his nationality or age.
It's also unclear how he died.
Head of the Garda Press Office Superintendent Paul Moran has this appeal.
"Our appeal here today is to anyone who may be concerned about a male relative or indeed a male friend that they haven't had any contact from or have been unable to contact since the end of June of this year. Contact Ballyfermot Garda Station or any Garda Station."
Superintendent Moran went on to say that the man underwent brain surgery in the past.
"This victim may have died four to five days prior to the finding on the 31st of July. What we have determined is that this male was between 25 and 45 years of age, 5 foot 8 in height up to possibly 6 foot in height. There is evidence that this man had undergone neurosurgical treatment in the past."
