A fundraising concert for those injured in the Berkeley balcony collapse is taking place in Dublin later this month.

It will be held on July 23rd in The Academy.

All of the money raised will go towards helping the seven Irish students injured when tragedy struck in California last month.

Acts confirmed so far include Jape, The Fontaines, Dublin Gospel Choir and Jessica Smith.

All bands are performing for free, and three floors of the venue have also been donated free of charge for the event.

Tickets can be bought from Ticketmaster.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up for those who can't make the gig, or would like to donate more than the ticket cost of €25.

Six students were killed and seven injured when the balcony collapsed during a birthday party in Berkeley last month.
