Gardai are convinced somebody out there has information that could lead to Raonaid Murray's killer.
On this day in 1999, the Murray family were trying to process the devastating news that 17 year old Raonaid had been murdered just 500 yards from her front door.
And without her killer being brought to justice or a clear picture as to what happened to her, their nightmare continues 16 years on.
Raonaid had been socialising in Scott’s pub on the night she was killed. At 11.20, she went home to get changed for a night out, but was found dead just an hour later.
Gardai are saying her case is still open, and anyone with any information is being asked to contact the Garda Confidential line
