A young person being held at Oberstown is recovering in hospital, after some hassle broke out at the children's detention centre in Lusk.
Gardai are investigating after three members of staff were also hurt, when they stepped in to end a row with another detainee last night.
All of those injured have since been discharged from hospital and management say the case has been referred to the Gardai.
It's the second such incident at the centre in a week - after two female members of staff were injured when they intervened in a row between two detainees last weekend.
