Four Local Authorities To Vote On Mayor Proposals

The Four Local authorities here in the capital have until the end of the month to decide on whether or not to ask us if we want a directly elected mayor.

All four will need to pass the proposal if it’s to be put to a public vote on May 23rd.

If not, then the vote doesn’t go ahead.

However, Fianna Fail’s Environment Spokesperson Barry Cowen says Dubliners will be the ones to lose out if they don’t understand what they’re voting for.
