The footbridge in Fairview WON’T be removed as part of plans to build a cycleway from Clontarf to the city centre.
Councillors were worried after original drawings showed that the structure would be taken down and new pedestrian crossings will take it’s place.
Today, a revised set of proposals were put to them which showed the bridge staying put.
The plans are still being finalised and will be put out to public consultation shortly.
