Avocado was very trendy in 2014. Everyone was eating it, right?!
So much so, the guys behind Emoji are considering an avocado symbol in an update of the app due for release in 2015.
Well, if you want to know what's going to be "fashionable" to have in your fridge next year, you're in the right place. Phew!
Baum + Whiteman - they're International Food & Restaurant Consultants - have released their 2015 Trend Report, which (apparently) tells us all what we'll be eating next year.
According to them, in 2015 we'll all be done with foods like kale, salsa and bacon (really?!).
In for 2015, are "ugly root vegetables", which we're promised we will enjoy fried, mashed and pureed.
As for drinks; beer and vodka are out - and whiskey is in. We're told we may even find coffee shops offering to serve up whiskeys with your flat whites.
Just so you don't mortify yourself in Supervalu in the new year, Baum + Whiteman have made this handy list of what you should be packing at the self-service checkouts:
