Five Attacks In Weekend Of Knife Crime In Dublin

One man was killed and 6 others were injured in a weekend of knife crime in Dublin.

A man is due in court this morning in connection with one of the stabbings. 

In the most serious attack, a 21 year old man was killed after being stabbed at the Oliver Bond flats in the south inner city in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Another man aged 23 is in a critical condition after being knifed at a bonfire in Blanchardstown on Saturday night.

On the north side, a 25 year old man is in a serious condition at Beaumont after being knifed in Clare Hall early yesterday, two others received minor injuries in that fight.

In a fourth assault a 19 year old was stabbed at Beaumont hospital.

A 29 year old is due in court in Swords this morning in relation to that attack. 

In Darndale a man in his 30s received non life threatening injuries in an assault early yesterday morning.
