Five young people have been arrested in connection a fatal stabbing in the south inner city.
Lorcan O'Reilly was killed in the attack over Halloween weekend.
The 21 year old was fatally wounded in an attack at the Oliver Bond flats, in the early hours of the first of November.
It's understood the young man from the Liberties was trying to break up a fight when he was stabbed.
Nobody was arrested in the wake of the murder but over two weeks later Gardai have made a breakthrough in the case.
Three men and two women aged in their late teens and early twenties, were picked up this morning.
They're being held at various garda stations around the city, where they can be questioned for up to 72 hours.
