Fire In Dublin Leaves Thousands Without Power

Up to 20,000 people in Dublin are waking up without power this morning.

A fire at an ESB substation on Brewery Road in Leopardstown has left several areas - including Mount Merrion, Stillorgan, and Rathfarnham - in the dark.

Three units of the fire brigade are at the scene, and repairs crews are warning it could take several hours before power is back.
