Fights To Spain Could Be Affected By Strike

The Irish Aviation Authority says it is possible that some flights between Ireland and Spain may be affected as a result of an air traffic control strike in Spain.

The strike will take place for short periods today, Wednesday, Thursday and on Sunday.

Aer Lingus plans to operate a full flight schedule and does not anticipate any impact to flights.

While Ryanair is advising customers that its flights are scheduled to operate as normal.

However, Pat Dawson from the Irish Travel Agents Association says despite this thousands of holiday makers may be affected as the strike progresses:
