There's fears for 160 Cadbury jobs in Dublin and Kerry.
The company that owns the chocolate brand, Mondelez, is looking for redundencies in Coolock and Rathmore.
Its also emerged that production is being tranferred from the Coolock plant to Poland.
Management at Mondelez are understood to be briefing staff at both facilities on its plans.
