A number of health and security procedures had to be put in place after 'offensive matter' was posted to the company which deals with Irish Water's paperwork.
Excrement was found on an information pack which was returned to Abtran in Cork.
The company says its an 'isolated incident' however Gardai have been asked to investigate.
